The MWO Leonard Pelletier, CD
|
Len Pelletier was a Second World War Veteran and a retired Canadian Forces Veteran. He was an active member of The Royal Canadian Legion for more than 40 years, and for a few years during that time served as Secretary of the Signals Branch. Mr. Pelletier was a life member of the Warriors' Day Parade Council, where he served as secretary for more than 20 years. Mr. Pelletier was responsible for the distribution of more than 22,000 tickets to Veterans and their families each year to allow free entry to the CNE on the day of the parade. He will be remembered as a true professional who did not seek accolades for his volunteer work, and was always willing to offer sage advice and a helping hand.
