COMPLIMENTARY CNE PARKING FOR VETERANS ON WARRIORS' DAY
PLEASE NOTE, PARKING IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. ARRIVE EARLY. Veterans having an Ontario Veteran's license plate will be afforded free parking underground at the Enercare Centre, off Strachan Avenue.

 

COMPLIMENTARY BUS & TRAIN TRANSPORTATION

SPECIAL NOTE: To qualify for free rides, Veterans should identify themselves by wearing their medals, uniform or by carrying their discharge papers.

Where a transit company may offer free rides for immediate family members of war Veterans, these individuals should carry the deceased Veteran's service papers and identification showing family connection to the deceased Veteran. Questions should be directed to the appropriate transit organization.

 Veterans ride for free on Warriors' Day.

Brampton Transit and Züm

Veterans (any former member of the Canadian Armed Forces) and one companion ride for free to the Warriors' Day Parade at the CNE and on Remembrance Day.

Additionally, Veterans who reside in Brampton may apply for a Veterans Pass to ride for free year-round. Application forms are available online.


MiWay

 Veterans ride for free on Warriors' Day and Remembrance Day.

Waterloo - Grand River Transit

Veterans ride for free year-round. A special lifetime Veterans pass is required, click here for info and an application form.

Brantford Transit

 Veterans ride for free year-round. A special lifetime Veterans pass is required. Visit Brantford Transit Terminal to receive your war Veterans pass.
